Direct Injection Turbo

The S-CROSS is powered by a 1.4-litre BOOSTERJET direct-injection turbo engine that delivers impressive torque. The intercooled turbocharger forces pressurised air into the cylinders, maximising torque at low rpm. The direct injection system optimises the amount, timing, and pressure of fuel for enhanced performance and efficiency. Thanks to electric intake variable valve timing (VVT), cooled exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), and a high compression ratio, the S-CROSS achieves excellent fuel efficiency of 5.9L/100km¶ (2WD models) and 6.2L/100km^ (ALLGRIP models).
